Crazy Lace Agate, often called the "Laughter Stone" or "Happy Lace," is a banded chalcedony (a type of microcrystalline quartz) known for its complex, intricate, and vibrant swirling patterns. It typically features earthy colors like whites, yellows, greys, and browns, mixed with red and black bands. Found exclusively in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, it is believed to have been formed roughly 65-90 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.
